Model Collectorate of Customs (MCC), Preventive Monday claimed to have foiled an attempt to export substantial quantity of contraband heroin to Saudi Arabia. The action was taken on a tip-off, which revealed that some unscrupulous elements were planning to transport huge quantity of Amphetamine to Saudi Arabia through air route.

Reacting to this information, strict vigilance was mounted by the preventive staff at Jinnah International Airport. Resultantly, a Pakistani passenger namely Imtiaz Ali was spotted at departure hall. When asked, he refused to have any contraband items in his possession. Later, the preventive staff carried out thorough examination of his luggage, which led a recovery of 2.4 kilograms of Amphetamine. The contraband item was artfully concealed at the bottom of his luggage.
